DCYF Project

City of San Francisco's Department Children Youth and Their Family (DCYF)

About DCYF
DCYF is dedicated exclusively to enhancing the lives and futures of San Francisco's children and youth. DCYF funds over 180 community-based organizations (CBOs) and city departments that offer a broad range of programs in the areas of early childhood, academic support, health and wellness, youth employment, family support and cultural enrichment.

About the Project
Serbin Associates is pleased to be partnering with the DCYF in a major engagement to build the organizational capacity of DCYF's funded CBOs.

Serbin Associates is providing ongoing, monthly coaching and consulting with 45 selected CBOs to guide and support them in achieving their fundraising, organizational development, human resources, management, and staff goals. Consulting engagements begin with a deep assessment that looks at the breadth and depth of the organizational needs. The Serbin Associate assigned to a CBO works with the E.D. to develop a work plan of goals and milestones that work to bring health and balance to the CBOs and are achieved over the life of the project.

Serbin Associates is also providing a series of practical workshops and training manuals to all of DCYF's 180 CBOs on the following topics.
