October 2003
Team Building and Team Decision Making
Offered October 9th and 23th, 2003, Thursdays
All day workshop with Baillee Serbin. This workshop presents valuable information and exercises about the types of teams, the stages of teams, the effectiveness of teams, the laws of teams, the levels of team involvement in decision making, the dynamics of team decision making , and the gradients of team decision making. (9:00 am - 4:00 pm). Lunch will be served. [Register]

Should We Become a 501c3?
Offered November 6th and 20th, 2003, Thursdays
Half day workshop with Marianne Arnstein. This is a round table discussion for Executive Directors discussing the pros and cons of becoming a 501c3.(10:00 am - 2:00 pm). Lunch will be served. [Register]
January 2004
Grant Writing
Offered January 15th and 29th, 2004, Thursdays
All day workshop with Sybil Boutilier. This workshop includes how to write a successful grant proposal, strategies and samples for grant proposals, and a one-hour panel of Grant Funders discussing what they are looking for in a grant for funding purposes. (9:00 am - 4:00 pm). Lunch will be served. [Register]

All day workshop with Martha Saly. This workshop includes the process of successful strategic planning and examples of successful strategic plans. (9:00 am - 4:00 pm). Lunch will be served. [Register]

Project Management
Offered March 11th and 25th, 2004, Thursdays
All day workshop with Baillee Serbin. This workshop includes methods that staff can use to guide a project from the first step to final completion, using tried and true approaches. (9:00 am - 4:00 pm). Lunch will be served. [Register]
